If you like Monopoly, you'll wish you had this! We spent a lot of time making this game, called Worldopoly. We made it by taping paper on the Monopoly board, coloring, tracing most of the lines, more coloring, making Chance & Community Chest cards by tracing one of the Chance cards, more coloring, making title deeds by tracing Atlantic Ave., even more coloring, drawing names (the names were different too), and then the fun began. (Are you tired of coloring?)
You say, "You forgot something! No, two things! What about the money and tokens? No, three things! What about the houses and hotels?" Well, isn't that four? :-) We used the money, tokens, houses and hotels from the real Monopoly! (We have a confession. Courtney and Brianna like to play with the money from Monopoly. They accidentally lost most of the $100 and $500 dollar bills in one of their purses, and now we have to use Sorry! and Pictionary cards!)
Instead of railroads, we have airlines! We have the Denver airline, the Southwest airline, the China airline, and the Russia airline. The dark purple monopoly is England, and it has the Saint Patrick Memorial and the Eiffel Tower. The light blue monopoly is South America and it has the Bean Plantation, the Jungles and Rain forests of Brazil and The Andes Mountains. The light purple (don't get mixed up here) monopoly is Australia and has Ayers Rock, the Sydney Opera House and the Opal Mine Shaft. The orange monopoly is Russia and has Russia's Logging Forest, Mine Shaft from the 1800's and The Moscow Circus. The red monopoly is India and has Palace of the Dalai Lama, the Great Indian Desert and the Taj Mahal. The yellow monopoly is Egypt and has The Great Sphinx, The Great Pyramid and The Nile River. The green monopoly is the U. S. A. and has The Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore. The dark blue(are you getting mixed up?) monopoly is China and has The Great Wall and (drum roll, please) Mt. Everest! (The properties have been listed in exactly the order they appear on the board (from GO on), excepting the airlines. Therefore the properties are also the same amount of money in rent. The utilities are the same as the regular game, and so is Go, Jail, Free Parking, Go To Jail, and the Chance and Community Chest spaces. Community Chest spaces, though, have been changed in color, just like Chance spaces (pink, blue, red) in the regular game.)
